Where we are in the world: Accountants in our community hail from locations near and far. That’s why we asked our Accounting Top 100 to share where their businesses are located. It was great to see how many participants responded with pictures and shout-outs for where they call home.?

Check out the Social Reactions section for this week’s chatter!

Here are some highlights from the latest Top 100…

Hat tip to: Brian Streig who has been hovering in the Leaderboard Top 5 in past weeks. Brian is an Austin, Texas-based CPA focusing on tax planning, compliance, start-ups and entrepreneurs, with experience helping clients in insurance, manufacturing, technology, entertainment, oil and gas, not-for-profit, wholesale, retail and professional services. These past months he’s been a constant presence on social media with updates on COVID-related tax relief, and generally trying to get folks headed in the right direction with the most up-to-date information. Thanks, Brian! And congrats on your strong showing on the Leaderboard!

Moving on up: Elizabeth Pittelkow moved up 123 points this week to land at #87!

I was actually on the list before? Figured I was one of the newcomers. Glad to make it though!

The leaderboard was "soft launched" over a month ago, so you were likely included in the initial user list while everything got up and running. Newcomers are those in the Top 100 who signed up in-between leaderboard releases. Glad you made it as well!

Well, I have gone from 343 to 240 as of April 29th on the #accountingtop100 list. Maybe one day I will see @drquickbooks of "always sunny" and shut down Seattle next to 99 other accountants (many of whom I know and follow) after I share a few more gifs which are supposed to help increase your rank.
